To place a call to Cuba, you must first dial 53, the city code, and then the number you wish to call.

To place a telephone call to any country of the world from Cuba, you must first dial 119, then the country code, and then the area code followed by the desired number.

To place a direct telephone call within the country, but outside of the city where you are, you must dial 0, then the area code of the city you are calling, followed by the desired number.
